IIIT-H team built a satellite that was launched and descended to ground sending data to the telemetry system.

IIIT-H’s team Mission Gaganyaan was ranked World First at CanSat 2010, at Amarillo, Texas, USA, sponsored by NASA. The contest required teams to design and fabricate a satellite capable of being launched and returning back safely. The payload was the egg of a hen, which had to come back intact.
